At The Cross Current we believe that Christians and churches who unify in the gospel, multiply in the gospel.
This is one reason why we were so thankful to God this past Saturday, April 5 when He graciously unified more than 70 evangelists from 15 different churches to preach the gospel together and explore our new Equipping Evangelists Training Network, or the EETN.
Last year we invited a core group of our closest and more experienced evangelist contacts to hear more about this new fellowship network and to pray about helping us test drive the training system. Thankfully, more than 15 equipping evangelists enlisted to serve!
The goal of the EETN is simple. Equipping every Christian by example for confident conversational evangelism to multiply gospel ministry in and through the local church.
As a next big step toward this goal, last Saturday we cast the net much wider and put out the call for a larger group of evangelists to join us and also personally invite a trainee who shares their passion.
If it’s true that healthy ministries grow, we’re very thankful that the significant growth of our EETN interest signals strong gospel health!

First, to encourage and equip each other to start the spring GO Teams season strong, we initially met in downtown London to preach the good news of Good Friday together.
Though there was light rain throughout the afternoon, our group gospel proclamation wasn’t at all dampened and many unbelievers received gospel tracts and heard God’s message of salvation through Christ.
After completing our Easter GO Teams mission together, we headed back to Crossroads Bible Church, our partner church for this event. There we heard a special message from Mark Spence, Senior Vice President of Living Waters, and we also explored the EETN over a fellowship meal – pizza!
