EVANGELISTS

We are equipping evangelists with and for their own local churches.

Our Mission

The Cross Current (TCC) is a local missions ministry that equips the Church by example to normalize sharing the gospel in all personal and community relationships.

Equipping Evangelists is our ministry equipping evangelists in their own churches to equip their own saints for the work of gospel ministry together (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Our Mandate

Our mandate is to equip every evangelist to help unify and multiply their local church in Christ’s Great Commission. This mandate is exampled through our core coaching covenant, as follows:

Equipping Evangelists Resolution of Elder Accountability and Oversight

As an ambassador for Christ, I resolve before God and man to faithfully obey the following biblical disciplines while serving under the authority/leadership of our local church.

Be it resolved that I will always walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which I have been called with all humility, gentleness, and patience.

Be it resolved that I will always bear with the brethren in love and be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Be it resolved that I will use my God-given gifts to help equip the saints for the work of the ministry of both preaching the gospel and making disciples.

Be it resolved that I will faithfully serve under the authority of our Elders and Pastoral leadership to preach the gospel and build up the Body of Christ.

Be it resolved that I will set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity as we go together to be Christ’s witnesses to our lost and dying world.

Be it resolved that I will strive to know the fear of the Lord and in grace and truth persuade others to be reconciled to God through Christ Jesus.

Be it resolved that I will be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves as I prioritize the physical and spiritual safety of me and my team as we faithfully minister His Word amidst an increasingly hostile anti-Christian culture.
