THE LONDON GOSPEL UNITY MISSION: ACCOMPLISHED!

Here’s what happened in my hometown of London, Ontario on Saturday, June 13th when 50+ Christ-followers from 12+ local churches unified in gospel teaching and training to multiply in gospel mission together!

The Gospel Unity Mission with The Cross Current is a free invitation for you and your church to unify in the gospel with other Christians and churches for personal training in conversational evangelism and gospel outreach.

The Gospel Unity Mission with The Cross Current is a free invitation for you and your church to unify in the gospel with other Christians and churches for personal training in conversational evangelism and gospel outreach.

There are 4 core equipping elements of this discipleship and evangelism opportunity.

First, participants are equipped onsite with expert teaching in the doctrine of biblical evangelism. Together we open Scripture to learn how to confidently share the gospel and then role play in prep for the gospel conversation you will have with one specific unsaved family member or friend for whom you’ve been praying.

After our fellowship lunch, participants are equipped by example offsite with expert training in the practice of biblical evangelism. Together we walk into the community under the tutelage of an experienced equipping evangelist to hear and have real gospel conversations as part of a smaller group Gospel Outreach Team.

<!–

Not only are participants equipped by example for confident conversational evangelism with lost loved ones, but any new equipping evangelists are also led by our Equipping Evangelists Training Network (EETN) members in the first steps of a discipleship plan to carry back home into your own church and community.

Finally, to help inspire further gospel unity and mission in your own family and church, all participants should leave equipped to share your own evangelism training testimony from this event with your church family.

The first “glory story” we need to share is about our new friend, Ray. After hearing the biblical gospel and being strongly encouraged in the truth that “today is the day of salvation” (2 Cor. 6:2), Ray repented of his sins for the first time and personally prayed to God to receive mercy and forgiveness! Please take a moment and pray for Ray.

I was so inspired today by the teaching and testimony of The Cross Current. Cory outlined a gospel-rooted, casual conversation style that brings people to the point of thinking about their relationship with God and the need for salvation.
