Dan Anderson

Church Leader Relations

Dan Anderson serves The Cross Current in establishing and developing supportive relationships with leadership teams (pastors/elders) in partner churches. Dan has served as a pastor in Ontario and BC for many years and is currently serving as pastor of Pinery Church in Grand Bend, Ontario. He has a passion to bring God’s word to life in everyday life and to equip the church to reach their friends and family with the truth of the gospel. Dan and his wife Carolyn have three adult children, Bobby (Karissa), Joshua (Alyssa) and Sydney (Shea).

Cory McKenna

Founding President

Cory McKenna (aka “The Equipping Evangelist”) is Founding President of The Cross Current. Having served as a pastor since 2002 and an equipping evangelist since 2007, the Lord has graciously grown in Cory a love for His people and gifting necessary to equip them for evangelism and the work of gospel outreach together. Cory and his wife Dawn live in London, Ontario with their two sons, Joshua and Caleb.

Daniel Bayssassew

Missionary Evangelist

Daniel Bayssassew is a Missionary Evangelist with The Cross Current. Having accumulated extensive experience in media production, the Lord has used Daniel to help the Church take the message of Christ to the world. Daniel also has a unique passion for conversational evangelism. Since becoming a Christian in 2002, Daniel has participated in various outreach ministries in both his home country of Canada as well as in The Bahamas, where he lived for several years. Daniel and his wife Sarah live in St. Catharines, Ontario with their four children, Benjamin, Abigail, Anna, and Elizabeth.

Randy Scott

Missionary Evangelist

Randy Scott is a Missionary Evangelist with The Cross Current. Having spent his entire career in the corporate world, Randy has extensive personal experience in sharing his faith in everyday life with family, friends, and work associates. Randy has worshiped with his home church for many years where his ministry of personally training other Christ-followers for more faithful life and witness has prepared him to passionately serve with The Cross Current. Randy and his wife MaryLou have two grown children, Tyler and Merisa, and live in Oakville, Ontario.

Dawn McKenna

Administrative Assistant

Dawn McKenna serves as Administrative Assistant with The Cross Current. Dawn’s career was in corporate and church administration before deciding to stay home to raise and homeschool her children. Since TCC was founded in 2007, Dawn has volunteered her administrative gifts and officially joined the staff team in January of 2019. Her heart’s desire is to see the operations side of the ministry run in a smooth and God-honouring way, and to make sure that all of our ministry relationships are faithfully cared for. Dawn lives in London, Ontario with her husband Cory and two sons, Joshua & Caleb.

Nettie Neufeld

Gospel Partner Relations

Nettie Neufeld serves as Gospel Partner Relations lead with The Cross Current. Nettie worked in agricultural labour, fitness training, and management before choosing to stay home and educate her son. She has been serving in the church for many years and in many ways and is passionate about discipling others to grow in love and good works. Nettie’s hope with The Cross Current is to help more churches become healthy and thriving in gospel ministry and to see God’s people come to unity and maturity in Christ. Nettie lives with her husband Herman and son James in Tillsonburg, Ontario. 

Chrystal Carroll

Administrative Support

Chrystal Carroll serves as Administrative Support with The Cross Current. Chrystal brings a heart for service and extensive administrative experience across corporate, private, and ministry settings. Since 2008, she and her husband have planted and pastored churches together, while also homeschooling their three children. Chrystal is grateful to be part of The Cross Current team and looks forward to using her gifts to support our church and household partners. Chrystal lives in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, with her husband Scott, their sons Noah and Josiah, and their daughter Sarah, who also lives locally.
