Who is Ray Comfort of Living Waters?
Ray Comfort is a Christian evangelist, author, and the founder Living Waters, a ministry that exists to inspire and equip Christians to fulfill the Great Commission.
Ray is best known for The Way of the Master; a TV program he co-hosted with actor Kirk Cameron. His ministry has had a profound global impact—mobilizing countless believers to biblically proclaim the good news.
My first introduction to Ray Comfort came through a high school friend named Seun, who came to Christ in university and was transformed by The Way of the Master evangelism training. He became fired up about sharing the gospel and passed that fire along to others. Later, a new believer I was discipling named Braulio also caught the evangelism flame and even attended the Ambassadors’ Academy with Living Waters in California around 2008.

Ray Comfort shares the gospel with “Bo”, a young man who was raised in Christian home and even attended seminary, but then walked away.
While I was living in the Bahamas, some friends and I wrote a gospel tract—and sure enough, they based it on The Way of the Master. It kept showing up in my life. After I moved back to Canada, I’d often watch Ray Comfort videos on YouTube during my lunch breaks, and it seemed like everyone in my Christian circles was doing the same. Ray’s influence is truly massive, and God has used his ministry to train believers around the world—including me. So, meeting him in person was much like meeting a Christian celebrity!
Meeting Modern-Day Heroes
When we arrived at the Living Waters office, we were warmly welcomed by Mark Spence, and not long after, Ray Comfort himself walked in.
Both were incredibly friendly—and hilarious.
They generously hosted us, giving a full tour of their space, including their gospel tract warehouse and podcast studio.

Mark Spence shares the gospel on the Huntington Beach pier.
We had the privilege of following Ray to Huntington Beach, one of his regular evangelism spots featured in his YouTube videos, where we watched him share the gospel in real time.

We even filmed a Q & A session with Ray and our Test Drivers Challenge winners right in the Living Waters podcast studio. What an amazing opportunity for our guys to learn from the best and get “up close and personal” with a modern-day hero of the faith!
The next day, we returned to the same beach and put everything we learned into action. The footage we captured is powerful, and I can’t wait to share it—right after we announce the winners!
Annette, our IHOP server, repented of her sin and received Christ on the spot when we shared the gospel with her!Throughout the week, our team grew closer over shared meals, meaningful conversations, and plenty of laughter. Some unforgettable off-camera gospel encounters stood out—like Annette, a server at IHOP who the Spirit moved to salvation by our conversation; Denardo, a homeless man we connected with; Ciara, a woman in the AA program; and Connor, a young man who told us he had been praying for boldness in evangelism.
The Docuseries is Working! The entire docuseries will be airing on Living Waters TV (

One of the key goals of this series is to attract more evangelists to the EETN, and by God’s grace, it’s already happening! A woman from Markham reached out wanting to get connected to the network after seeing our first episode. The plan is working, and we’re just getting started.
I also want to take this opportunity to encourage you to watch and share our EETN Test Drivers Competition. This initiative will multiply ministry among churches across our land, and your involvement is critical. Whether you’re going, giving, or praying—you are part of this movement.
Let’s stay “on the go” for the gospel together!
