“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them” (Luke 2:20). In this fourth and final episode we challenge all of God’s sheep to be like those shepherds by relaying His good news of great joy to others this Christmas season.
If a messaging angel and multitude of heavenly hosts pause for the purpose of singing God’s praises, then how can’t we do the same? In this third episode of our special Christmas series, we rejoice with heaven to give God glory for sending His only Son to be our sovereign Saviour and conquering King.
Suffice to say we have a lot to learn from those supposedly simple shepherds who watched their flocks on that very first Christmas night. While Bethlehem was hustling and bustling with crowds of people, the shepherds chose to chill out where it was calm and quiet. Will you choose to do the same and receive afresh God’s good news of great joy this season?
Have you ever thought about why Mary, Joseph, the wise men, and the shepherds all worshiped at the feet of baby Jesus while the rest of the world somehow “missed the memo” and was hopelessly distracted with business as usual? In this part 1 our series we trust the truth of God’s Word will help you relax with the commercial chaos as you reach out with the Christ of Christmas this holiday season.
Do you know that Christmas can be the most wonderful time of the year for sharing Christ?
In this outreach radio series, you’ll hear several real-life conversations on the street with non-Christians surrounding the subject of Christmas, along with their reaction to the Good News of great joy that a Saviour has been born!
TCC Radio host Cory McKenna will also be closing out each episode in the studio by sharing insights from Scripture to help us all make the most of Christmas in our life and witness this season.
Remember: the greatest and most miraculous “good” of the Good News is God Himself!
If being deceived by definition means that you don’t know it’s happening, how would you know if you’re being deceived? In this fourth and final part of our series we’ll again open God’s Word in the studio and on the street to expose the ultimate source of all false religion in the hope that God allows the blind minds of all our unbelieving hearers to finally see clearly Who Jesus really is!
While Christianity is like other religions in that it’s a belief that attempts to answer the big questions of life, Christianity is also nothing like other religions because of one wonderful word. Ready for it? Well, in this part 3 of our series we again take you in the studio and on the street to hopefully have you find out for yourself!
As we look around our own “selfie society” we see that we are all inescapably religious worshipers with hopelessly rebellious hearts that reject any lordship over our lives – especially God’s! In this part 2 of our series we again open God’s Word in the studio to expose every “fool” thing and the fact that all people know God and are without excuse for denying Him.
Many modern skeptics claim that God and religion are just western ideas for the ignorant and weak-minded. However, both Scripture and human history confirm that we all “got religion” in the sense that we all instinctively worship someone or something. In this part 1 of our series we take you in the studio and on the street to faithfully proclaim the only true God Who is worthy of all our worship in hope that He reconciles all of our listeners into a personal and saving relationship with Himself.
Religion. Some people can’t get enough of it … and some don’t even want to talk about it. Others would even claim that religion is the root of all evil! Over 90% of the world’s population adheres to some form of religion. Yet, it’s becoming increasingly more common to use the term “religion” as synonymous with “private superstition” that has no place in public discourse.
In this sacred series of TCC Radio, we again take you in the studio and on the street with our outreach radio team to talk truth about who is “religious” and who is not. In light of eternity, Christians must learn to graciously expose the lie that our religion is just one of many ways to God … when the One we are following publicly proclaimed and proved to be the only way.
How is it possible for a supposed Atheist to say they are a “very good person” without having an objective standard for what “good” is? If morality is merely “common sense”, where does that “common sense” come from to make it “common”? In this Gospel conversation, our TCC radio rep corrects with gentleness to expose the fact that all people are absolutely “up to no good” compared to the one true God.
Is God’s grace truly good or is it just a cheap bargaining chip to cash in on whenever it’s convenient? Can someone lie and steal without being “labeled” as a liar or a thief? This time we’re giving you a “two in one special” as our radio rep shares two compelling Gospel conversations in just one episode.
Is a self-professed goodness score of 75% “good enough” to earn eternal life with God? At what point does our bad behavior cause us to cross the line from being a good person to a bad person? In this gentle and respectful evangelistic exchange, God brings together two sinners to talk truth on how good is truly good enough for the young and old alike.
Can someone be bad in their thoughts yet still good in their community? Hear how our TCC Radio Rep reasons from Scripture to advance and give a defense of the Gospel in this elusive encounter with one very unusual suspect.
“It’s all good” is a common contemporary phrase synonymous with saying: “chill out”. However, the biblical necessity of being “all good” by God’s standard should cause all sinners great concern in light of eternity!
God is good. This ultimate truth is wonderfully good news for some but terribly bad news for others – it really depends on where each individual is personally standing today in relation to God.
Further, most people know that God is good. But, as sinners, most people do not know that God’s goodness is our greatest problem! If only God is “all good”, how can He not punish people for being bad?
In this series, we’re taking you in the studio and on the street with our outreach radio team to preach and teach the truth of God’s goodness.
We’ve been saying throughout this entire series that in the end what’s most important is not what others say about God, but what God says about Himself. That said, it’s always encouraging when God the Father graciously reveals the true identity of His Son to another dead and depraved human heart that has repeatedly rejected Him. In this final part 4 of our series, our radio rep sharpens iron with another professing brother in Christ to teach through the Gospel and Lordship of King Jesus.
Although the Bible itself is the perfect source proving Christ’s existence, many other ancient historians outside of Scripture also confirm the person and work of Jesus – Josephus, Tacitus, and Thallus just to name a few. How is it possible that so many skeptics in this age of information have somehow missed these memos? Perhaps their claim that Christ is a mere figment has less to do with actual research and more to do with arrogant refusal to submit to His Sovereign Lordship. In this part 3 of our series, we engage three outspoken teens on the street before opening Scripture in the studio to study Christ’s self-declaration that He is Lord.
“The bees knees” is an urban term that means “the height of excellence”. Although the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is the eternal “I Am” Who far surpasses all that is (John 8:58; Colossians 1:15-19), might a sinful subject of the King of Glory who tags Him as such be guilty of blasphemy? In this part 2 of our series, we talk truth with two skeptics on the street before opening Scripture in the studio to study Christ’s self-declaration that He is Savior.
Was Jesus merely a holy humanitarian who came to help the heartbroken and homeless of the world, or was there much more to His message and ministry? In this part 1 of our series, we hope to lead you away and alone from the hustle and bustle of life like Jesus did with His disciples to determine whether you truly know Him.
Over 2000 years later and Christ’s question is still on the world’s front page: “Who do YOU say that I Am?” The destiny of every person who has ever lived rises or falls based on confessing with their mouths and believing in their hearts the right answer to this question.
In this series, we’re taking you in the studio and on the street with our outreach radio team to experience first-hand some of the crazy responses people give! But, in the end, what’s truly important is not what others say about God, but what God says about Himself.
