We humbly ask you to join us on the first Thursday of every month for our special day of fasting and prayer from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for pastors, churches, the lost, and our ministry. If you are within driving distance of London (Ontario, Canada), please email us at admin@thecrosscurrent.com or phone (226) 663-1822 for local meeting directions. However, if you are outside our area, we invite you to pray at the same time wherever you are located.

Happy New Year!

Welcome to our first praise and prayer update of 2009 AND a simple new format for our monthly “Prayer Pulse” messages! These brief messages will be posted here each month for any and all believers burdened to cry out to God on our behalf.

First of all, we praise God for His faithfulness, protection, and provision in 2008! After an amazing day of prayer and planning for 2009 this past Saturday, January 3^rd, we have summarized a few simple prayer points that we trust you will add to your personal and church prayer list.

Please pray for the following in response to the plans the Lord has given us for this year:

1. For the Lord to help us fulfill the mission He’s given our ministry

The Cross Current (TCC) is a local missions ministry and outreach broadcast bringing glory to God’s Name in Canada by unifying His Church in His Gospel and helping pastors equip all Christians under their care to be His witnesses everyday, everywhere, to everyone, as one body serving in accordance with the various gifts He has given each.

2.  For the Lord to help us fulfill the following goals He’s given us for this year:

• Donor Development (225 Cross Carriers each giving $25 each per month)
• Partner Churches Confirmed and Church Champions Network Established
• Balance Radio and Television Program Production
• TCC Promotional Materials and Media Branding
• Help more pastors equip their churches for outreach ministry
• Grow our weekly street team
• Stabilize all things web (Members Site, e-Rep follow-ups, online Store)

3. For Him to protect and provide for our board members, their families, their churches and ministries with TCC:

4. For Him to supernaturally strengthen and sustain each TCC leader who has graciously volunteered to lead our team in our various areas of ministry:
