The Cross Current has partnered with CanadaHelps to securely care for the online donations of our Cross Carriers.
CanadaHelps is a not-for-profit charity website that seeks to promote and facilitate philanthropy through online giving. CanadaHelps is easy and secure and allows The Cross Current to minimize our administrative costs. CanadaHelps offers its services at very low cost to the charity.
Setting Up Your Donations
Simply click the “Donate Now” button (below or on the previous page) and follow the instructions given by the CanadaHelps.org website. All your information is confidential and securely protected. Donor information is only provided to the charity to which the donation has been made. Anonymous donations are made by selecting the appropriate box when prompted and anonymity is guaranteed.
Tax Receipts
Donations made through the CanadaHelps.org website are treated as regular receiptable donations. The Canada Revenue Agency has approved the use of electronic tax receipts. Within minutes of making a donation, the donor receives notification confirming the transaction. CanadaHelps.org is a registered public foundation and as a result donors are electronically receipted for a donation to CanadaHelps.org. The donation is processed and funds are directed to The Cross Current bank account.
